Anabat Swift Bat Detector / Acoustic Recorder

Acoustic recorder and bat detector in one.

The Swift has an incredible battery life, recording full spectrum for over 50 nights* on 8 convenient and readily available AA batteries. You can choose to use 4 or 8 AA batteries depending on your required deployment time to reduce battery wastage, or use the external power option. Record bats in either full spectrum or zero crossings or use the acoustic microphone for acoustic recording ie birds, frogs, owls, Koalas etc. A built-in GPS saves the location in the metadata of every file you save, and can also be used to log tracks for mobile transects.

Hire includes:

- 1 x Acoustic microphone (birds, frogs, owls, koala etc) if the product type with acoustic microphone is selected on checkout
- 1 x Ultrasonic microphone (bats)
- 1 x Microphone cable
- 1 x Computer USB cable
- 1 x 64 GB SD card
- 1 x Strap (for mounting on trees)
- Instructions / Quick set sheet to allow quick switching between acoustic and bat recording

Batteries NOT included. Titley recommend Alkaline batteries (4 or 8 x AA).

All of our units come upgraded to the latest firmware and with settings optimised for bat detection. You can customise the settings later using our quick settings sheet included or drop us a note in the Order Notes section at checkout and we can set it to your specifications.

May be used with a lock box and python (see separate listing) to reduce the chances of theft.

On 8 x AA batteries and a 64 GB SD card you should get:
- 10 - 20 nights of bat call recording depending on the number of bat calls / noise recorded (up to 100 nights if you add another large SD card).
- 14 days & nights of continuous acoustic recording

Hire price excludes GST and is per week.

Please use your field work date in the booking and we will ensure the item gets to you the business day before. Hire includes shipping to the customer.
