The Iridium Extreme® handset provides an in-hand solution for voice, SMS, SOS and tracking with GPS accuracy, enabling you to make the connections that matter, under tough conditions, from all over Australia and the world.

This satellite phone has an inbuilt SOS button for emergency assistance. We can also enable GPS tracking for the cost of a SMS per location. We use Geoborders software to enable the phone GPS location to be tracked and it will automatically send an email (to whatever address you specify) with phone locations as they arrive. We usually have this setup for one SMS per hr (but you can choose SMS frequency).

Calls to the satellite phone will be at international call rates as it has an international phone number.

Calls and SMS will be billed at cost + 10%. As of Jan 2020 the usage prices from our provider are $0.45 per SMS, $0.40 call connection charge and $0.95 per 30s for calls made from the phone. There is no charge for receiving calls. A copy of the call log and bill will be provided.

Hire price excludes GST and is per week.

Please use your field work date in the booking and we will ensure the item gets to you the business day before. Hire includes shipping to the customer.
