Radio-tracking Antenna - Rubber Ducky

The RA-23K ('Rubber Ducky') is a rugged, heavy duty handheld directional "H" antenna. The aluminum handle folds against the center section and the flexible elements are detachable for storage in a slim carrying pouch.

This antenna is great for field work and is my go-to for radio-tracking. It is less accurate than the 3-element Yagi, but it is much more versatile. You can put it out of the car window easily. It is light and easy to carry through dense bush.
