Song Meter Mini for acoustic recording (birds, frogs, owls, koalas etc) on just 4 AA batteries. Does NOT record ultrasonics (bats).

Batteries NOT included. 4 x AA Alkaline or NIMH batteries are required.

Configure it via the Song Meter Mini configurator app for either IOS or Android.

All of our units come upgraded to the latest firmware. Units can be set without configuring them further or after booking, we will provide you with common recording schedules straight to your phone via SMS for you to load yourself. Or you can use / create your own custom schedules. If you need something specific drop us a note in the Order Notes section at checkout and we can set it to your specifications.

As an indication, this unit will record the following durations without changing batteries or SD cards:

- all day and all night at 22050 Hz for 9 days / nights

- night only at 22050 Hz for 17 nights

Hire price excludes GST and is per week.

May be used with the Song Meter Mini Bracket + Python (see separate listing) lock to minimise the chances that it can be opened or stolen.

May be used with a python lock (see separate listing) only to reduce the chance of theft, but it will still be able to be opened.

Please use your field work date in the booking and we will ensure the item gets to you the business day before. Hire includes shipping to the customer.
